Excellent screencasts demonstrating jQuery can be found at jqueryfordesigners.com. It also offers a nice glimpse into Javascript without being too technical and getting too lost in loops and iterations.

Javascript has also become a must know asset in web development. I have used Javascript in menu’s and for lightbox effects but I have never written it before. I am more interested in learning Javascript so I can learn AJAX but a good working knowledge of Javascript would certainly help me find a job. W3Schools.org has a good set of Javascript tutorials that I will be working my way through as well. Once again I would like to create a list of Javascript tutorials that are useful so if you have a favorite, please share it.
