In particular in the license it states: "You may distribute the software under the following conditions: * You may not modify, combine other commercial applications with, or otherwise prepare derivative works of the software." I actually switched from CDBurner XP to InfraRecorder which is Open Source - because of the licensing. While CDBurner XP is great (I used it myself for a couple of years) and while it is free, it is not Open Source (It’s freeware). In particular in the license it states:
